Support at Home Software

Support at Home software on one Australian platform.

Support at Home replaced Home Care Packages and Short-Term Restorative Care on 1 November 2025. It is the biggest change to in-home aged care funding and compliance in twenty years. Statura is built around the legislation — thirteen obligation areas, one platform, and a live compliance view across the work your team completes every day.

SAH Compliance Visibility

A live view of Support at Home compliance.

Support at Home creates moving compliance signals every day: quarterly budgets, contribution categories, care management caps, wellness goals, visit evidence, SIRS events, worker screening and improvement actions. Statura keeps those signals visible together, while government-dependent lodgements start with structured capture and submission-ready exports before direct integrations come online.

Operational events

Incidents, notes, shifts, care minutes, funding events and workforce checks are captured where the work happens.

Exceptions stay visible

SIRS clocks, overdue actions, screening expiries, roster gaps and evidence gaps surface before they become audit problems.

Evidence builds continuously

Daily records flow into dashboards, registers, board reporting and audit evidence without a separate spreadsheet chase.

The short version

Thirteen obligations. One platform. No spreadsheets.

Every Support at Home provider carries the same thirteen obligations — whether you're running 30 clients or 3,000. The Aged Care Act 2024 and the Support at Home Program Manual don't care about your tech stack; they care about your classification records, your 10% care management cap, your quarterly budgets, your submission-ready claim data, your participant contributions, and the live evidence trail you can produce on request.

This page is the index. Each of the thirteen pillars below maps to a specific obligation area. Click through to see what the legislation requires, where providers commonly trip up, how Statura handles it, and what an ACQSC auditor will see when they ask for evidence.

The 13 SAH Pillars

Why legislation-shaped

The website is shaped around the Act, not our feature list.

Every other home-care software vendor organises their site around their product — clinical documentation, rostering, billing. We organise ours around the Aged Care Act 2024 and the Support at Home Program Manual. That's not a preference; it's how Departmental reviewers, ACQSC assessors and compliance managers think about their obligations.

On every pillar page, the structure is the same: what the legislation requires, what providers usually get wrong, how Statura handles it, and what the audit trail looks like. If you're comparing vendors, you should be able to put our page on one screen and their page on another and see which one is actually shaped around your obligations.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions about Support at Home software.

What is the Support at Home program?

Support at Home replaced Home Care Packages and Short-Term Restorative Care on 1 November 2025 under the Aged Care Act 2024. It introduced eight ongoing classification levels, per-service means-tested contributions, quarterly budgets with capped carry-over, mandatory wellness and reablement goals, and a named Care Partner for every participant. The Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) is expected to transition into SAH no earlier than 1 July 2027.

Can I use Statura Care for both residential and home care?

Yes. Statura Care covers residential aged care and Support at Home on one platform. Same login, same audit trail, same reporting. Providers operating across both care types manage everything from a single system without duplicate data entry.

Does it handle SAH participant contributions?

Yes. The platform calculates per-service contributions across the three SAH ongoing service categories (Clinical Care, Independence, and Everyday Living) and the four means-testing tiers (full pensioner, part pensioner, Commonwealth Seniors Health Card holder, and self-funded retiree), with lifetime cap tracking, grandfathered participant rules, and hardship provisions. Contributions are itemised on the monthly participant statement. Assistive Technology and Home Modifications is a separate SAH funding stream with its own workflow.

Can I manage HCP clients during the transition?

Yes. Existing HCP clients can be grandfathered with their retained balances while new clients are managed under SAH. The platform supports both models concurrently during the transition window.

Is the platform ready for the CHSP transition in 2027?

Yes. The data model already supports the SAH service categories, price caps and quarterly budgeting required when CHSP transitions. Providers running CHSP today can adopt Statura now to manage the transition without changing platforms later.

Running residential aged care too?

The residential aged care section is a dedicated hub with six pillars.

Providers operating across both residential and Support at Home get one platform, one login, one audit trail. The residential section covers the obligations specific to residential — AN-ACC classification and funding, care minutes and 24/7 RN coverage, the mandatory Quality Indicator Program, star ratings, prudential obligations, and accommodation pricing.
