Does the app work offline?
Yes. All clinical data is stored in an encrypted local database (AES-256) and syncs automatically when the device reconnects. Observations, clock times, incident reports, wound assessments, and notes all work without internet. This is essential for care workers visiting clients in areas with limited mobile coverage.
What devices does the app support?
The app works on iOS (15.1+) and Android (8.0+) smartphones and tablets. It supports biometric login (Face ID and fingerprint) with a 6-digit PIN fallback. All data on the device is encrypted, and administrators can remotely wipe data if a device is lost or stolen.
How does GPS clock-in work?
Care workers tap to clock in and the app verifies they are within the geofence radius of the client location. Break tracking follows SCHADS Award requirements automatically, including meal break alerts after 5 hours and overtime warnings.
Can care workers report incidents from the app?
Yes. The app includes guided SIRS incident reporting with automatic Priority 1/2 classification per the Aged Care Rules 2025. P1 incidents show a 24-hour countdown timer. A separate WHS incident pathway is available for workplace injuries and hazards.
