Built-in LMS

Training that proves itself, not just a tick-box.

Statura has a learning management system built in. Author courses, auto-assign mandatory training on hire, score quizzes on the server, and issue certificates — with every completion linked to the worker’s record as audit evidence. No third-party LMS to reconcile.

The Problem

A third-party LMS the platform can’t see.

When training lives outside the system that runs your workforce, competency becomes something you reconstruct at audit time instead of something you can prove on demand.

Training lives in three places at once.

A spreadsheet of completions, a third-party LMS the platform can't see, and a filing cabinet of certificates. At audit time, proving every worker is current means stitching all three together by hand.

Recertification lapses quietly.

Manual handling, fire safety, medication competency — each on its own renewal cycle. Without a system watching the clock, the first time you notice a lapsed certificate is when an assessor does.

A tick-box doesn't prove competency.

Marking a course 'complete' in a spreadsheet proves attendance, not understanding. When the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission asks how you know your workforce is competent, you need more than a signature.

How It Works

Author, assign, prove.

AUTHOR

Build the courses your workforce actually needs.

Create courses from text, video, quizzes and linked resources — versioned, sequenced into modules, and published when ready. Ship your own induction and clinical content alongside a catalogue with residential and Support at Home variants.

  • Text, video, quiz and external-link content types
  • Versioned courses with a publish / archive lifecycle
  • Residential and Support at Home program variants

ASSIGN + RECERTIFY

Mandatory training assigns itself on day one.

New hires are auto-assigned their mandatory courses the moment they start. Recurring courses carry a recertification cycle, so manual handling or medication competency re-assigns itself before it expires — not after.

  • Auto-assign mandatory courses on hire
  • Recurrence and recertification windows per course
  • A live per-staff grid: completed, in progress, overdue

COMPLETE + CERTIFY

Staff learn in-app and earn a real certificate.

Workers take courses inside the platform, complete each module, and sit the quiz. Pass, and a PDF certificate is issued and stored against their record. The completion is evidence — linked, dated and ready for audit.

  • In-app course player on web and mobile
  • PDF certificate issued on completion
  • Completions linked to the worker's record for evidence

Audit-Grade By Design

A completion you can stand behind.

Quizzes are scored on the server

The answer key never reaches the browser. Quizzes are scored server-side with a configurable pass mark and attempt limits, so a completion reflects a genuine result — not a guessable one.

Every completion is evidence

Each completion and certificate is dated and linked to the worker's record, and the action is written to the audit trail. Workforce competency evidence is assembled as training happens.

Built for the Standards

Workforce competency sits under Strengthened Standard 2 (The Organisation). The LMS keeps mandatory training current and provable — so the workforce evidence is ready when an ACQSC contact arrives.

The LMS is part of the workforce module set.

Training and competency tracking come with the workforce capabilities on the Professional tier and above, and on the Home Care plans. See the pricing page for the full tier breakdown.

FAQs

The LMS, answered.

Is this a real LMS or just a training-record tracker?

It's a full learning management system built into the platform. You author courses from text, video, quizzes and linked resources; staff complete them in-app; quizzes are scored; and certificates are issued on completion. It is not a spreadsheet of completion dates and it is not a third-party LMS bolted on — the learning and the compliance record are the same system.

How does mandatory training get assigned to new staff?

Mandatory courses are auto-assigned when a worker is onboarded, so day-one compliance training is allocated without anyone remembering to do it. Recurring courses carry a recertification cycle and re-assign themselves before they expire, and a per-staff grid shows completed, in-progress and overdue training at a glance.

How are quizzes scored, and can staff just guess?

Quizzes are scored on the server — the answer key is never sent to the browser — with a configurable pass mark, a maximum number of attempts, and per-answer explanations. Because scoring and completion are enforced server-side, a completion reflects a genuine result rather than a tick-box.

Do staff get a certificate they can keep?

Yes. On passing, a PDF certificate is generated and stored against the worker's record, and the worker can access their certificates from their self-service portal. The completion is also linked to the worker's compliance record as audit evidence.

How does this support ACQSC compliance?

Workforce competency and training sit under Strengthened Standard 2 (The Organisation) of the Aged Care Quality Standards. Because the LMS keeps mandatory training current, scores competency, and links completions to each worker's record as evidence, the workforce-training picture is provable on demand rather than reconstructed before an assessment.

Point tool vs one platform

Training that lives in another system can't stop an unqualified shift.

A standalone LMS

  • Course records sit apart from the roster and credentials
  • Lapsed competencies surface at audit, not before the shift
  • Manual reconciliation between who's trained and who's rostered
  • Another login, another vendor, another integration to maintain

Inside Statura

  • Authoring, single and bulk assignment, delivery, quizzes and certificates
  • Credential expiry drives recollection tasks with configurable lead-days
  • A lapsing certification blocks the shift, automatically
  • One platform with rostering, credentials and compliance

Best-in-class on its own — and one of seven connected pillars on a single platform. Buying the point tool means buying the integration problem too.

See how the journey connects

Move toward one operating platform, one phase at a time.

Statura is designed to land cleanly inside the way providers already operate. Start with the workflow under pressure, keep the systems that still need to stay, and expand into the broader platform on your timeline. Every phase adds more signal to the live compliance view your leaders use to see risk, evidence and performance in real time.
