Workforce Compliance
Staff the floor. Meet the minutes. Prove the compliance.
The Aged Care Act 2024 introduced mandatory minimum staffing requirements with real financial penalties for non-compliance. Statura Care’s Workforce module tracks every worker’s screening, qualifications, and training — and calculates your daily care minutes per resident in real time so you always know where you stand.

The Challenge
Providers must deliver a minimum of 215 care minutes per resident per day, including 44 minutes of registered nurse care, with a registered nurse on-site 24/7. Non-compliance carries financial penalties. Tracking this manually across rosters, qualifications, and screening expiries is error-prone and high-risk.
Key Capabilities
What the Workforce Compliance module does.
Worker Register & Qualifications
Comprehensive register of all workers with employment type, role category, qualifications, AHPRA registration status, and start/end dates. Expired registrations are flagged immediately.
Screening Compliance
Track police certificates, NDIS Worker Screening clearances, and Working with Vulnerable People checks with expiry monitoring. Escalating alerts ensure no worker’s screening lapses.
Mandatory Training Register
Track completion across 10+ training modules — manual handling, fire safety, infection prevention, medication management, dementia care, Code of Conduct, and first aid. Expiry dates trigger re-training alerts.
Daily Staffing Minutes Calculator
Log actual staffing hours by role category (RN, EN, PCW, allied health) each day. Automatically calculate total care minutes per resident and flag non-compliance.
24/7 RN Coverage Tracking
Confirm a registered nurse was on-site for every 24-hour period. Gaps are identified immediately with critical alerts — 24/7 RN coverage is a hard regulatory requirement.
Staffing Mix Analysis
Analyse your workforce composition by role category with trending over time. Generate reports aligned with Star Ratings and ACQSC reporting requirements.
Regulatory Requirements

Staff qualifications determine which care minutes category their hours count towards.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What screening checks does the module track?
Police certificates, NDIS Worker Screening clearances, and Working with Vulnerable People checks. Each has expiry monitoring with escalating alerts at 90, 60, 30, and 14 days before expiry so no worker's screening lapses while they are rostered.
How does the 24/7 RN coverage requirement work?
At least one registered nurse must be on-site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with no gaps. The module confirms RN presence for every 24-hour period and generates critical alerts immediately when a coverage gap is identified.
What happens if we fall below the 215/44 care minutes target?
The module calculates your actual care minutes per resident per day by role category. If you are trending below the 215-minute total or the 44-minute RN minimum, the system flags non-compliance so you can adjust staffing before financial penalties are imposed.
Can we track mandatory training completion?
Yes. The module tracks completion across 10+ training modules including manual handling, fire safety, infection prevention, medication management, dementia care, Code of Conduct, and first aid. Expiry dates trigger re-training alerts automatically.
