Documents and signatures, inside the care workflow.
Governed templates, built-in e-signatures with assurance levels, and an immutable signature ledger that binds each signature to the exact content signed. Service agreements, consents and care-plan acknowledgements — without a separate document store or e-signature subscription.

The Problem
Store it here, sign it there, file it back by hand.
A document store outside the workflow is a filing cabinet.
Policies, agreements and consents sit in a shared drive, disconnected from the care they govern. The document that should trigger a process, and the signed record that proves it happened, live somewhere nobody looks until an audit.
Storing and signing are two separate bills.
One subscription to hold documents, another to send them for signature, and a manual step to file the signed copy back. Three tools and a person in the middle, for what should be one flow.
Was this the version they actually signed?
When a consent or an agreement is challenged, you need to prove exactly what was put in front of the person and that it hasn't changed since. A PDF in a folder can't prove that.
How It Works
Template, sign, prove — in one place.
GOVERNED TEMPLATES
Templates that render the exact document, every time.
Service agreements, consents, care-plan acknowledgements and residential accommodation agreements are built from governed templates with field-merge, version control and an approval state. The document a client signs is generated from an approved template — not assembled by hand and hoped to be right.
- Templates for agreements, consents and care-plan acknowledgements
- Field-merge from the client and care record, with required-field checks
- Versioned and approval-gated before anything is sent

BUILT-IN E-SIGNATURES
Sign where the work happens.
Capture a signature electronically — typed, drawn or by recording a wet signature — with assurance levels appropriate to who is signing. A secure, rate-limited public link lets a client or representative sign without an account. No separate e-signature subscription, no exporting documents to a third tool and importing the signed copy back.
- Typed, drawn or wet-signature capture with assurance levels
- Secure public signing link for clients and representatives
- Signed PDFs generated and filed against the record automatically

LIFECYCLE + EVIDENCE
See what's expiring before it does.
An expiring-documents view tracks agreements, consents and policies approaching their review or expiry date, so nothing lapses unnoticed. Every signature is bound to the exact content that was signed by a content hash — so you can prove what was put in front of the person, and that it hasn't changed.
- Expiring-document dashboard across agreements, consents and policies
- Each signature bound to the signed content by a SHA-256 hash
- An immutable signature ledger you can show an auditor

Evidence, Not Just Storage
A signed document that stands up to scrutiny.
Tamper-evident by design
Each signature is cryptographically bound to the exact document content it was applied to with a SHA-256 hash, recorded in an immutable ledger. If the content changes, the binding no longer matches — so a signed agreement is evidence, not just a stored file.
Assurance levels that fit the signer
Electronic signatures carry an assurance level appropriate to who is signing and what they're signing — a worker acknowledgement and a client's accommodation agreement are not treated the same.
Inside the care workflow
Documents and signing live in the same platform as care plans, consents and compliance — so the policy that governs a process and the signed record of it sit where the work happens, not in a separate filing system.
FAQs
Documents & signing, answered.
Does Statura include e-signatures, or do we need DocuSign as well?
E-signatures are built in. You can capture a signature electronically — typed, drawn or as a recorded wet signature — and send a secure public signing link to a client or representative without a separate e-signature product. The signed PDF is generated and filed against the record automatically, so there's no export-to-DocuSign-and-import-back step.
What documents can be signed?
Governed templates cover service agreements, consents, care-plan acknowledgements and residential accommodation agreements, built with field-merge from the client and care record. Templates are versioned and approval-gated, so the document a person signs is generated from an approved version rather than assembled by hand.
How do you prove what someone actually signed?
Every signature is bound to the exact content that was signed by a SHA-256 content hash and recorded in an immutable ledger. If the content were altered afterward, the binding would no longer match — so a signed agreement stands up as tamper-evident evidence of exactly what was put in front of the person and when.
Can a client or family member sign without a login?
Yes. A secure, rate-limited public signing link lets a client or representative review and sign without creating an account, with an assurance level appropriate to who they are and what they're signing.
How do we keep documents from lapsing?
An expiring-documents dashboard tracks agreements, consents and policies approaching their review or expiry date, so renewals are surfaced before they lapse rather than discovered at audit. Because documents live in the same platform as the care they govern, the lifecycle is visible alongside the work.
Point tool vs one platform
A separate document store and e-signature tool is two problems, not one solution.
A DMS + e-signature stack
- Policies and signed agreements sit outside the process they govern
- Version drift and unsigned-document gaps stay invisible
- Two subscriptions: one to store, one to sign
- No tamper-evident link between a document and the work it controls
Inside Statura
- Document templates with field-merge for agreements, consents and acknowledgements
- Built-in e-signatures (typed, drawn or wet) with assurance levels
- An immutable signature ledger with SHA-256 content binding
- Documents and signing live inside the care workflow
Best-in-class on its own — and one of seven connected pillars on a single platform. Buying the point tool means buying the integration problem too.
See how the journey connectsMove toward one operating platform, one phase at a time.
Statura is designed to land cleanly inside the way providers already operate. Start with the workflow under pressure, keep the systems that still need to stay, and expand into the broader platform on your timeline. Every phase adds more signal to the live compliance view your leaders use to see risk, evidence and performance in real time.
